I have 2 rabbits and they are still really young. I bought them a new cage that has 2 stories.
it looks like this: http://pet.imageg.net/graphics/product_i鈥?/a>
I've never had a cage with 2 stories before so i was wondering if they would learn SOON to go up and down the ladder. (: thanks! Will my rabbit learn to the functions of its cage?
Yup, don't worry! Rabbits are really smart. I have the same cage as you, and to help my rabbits learn, I kept putting him on the top story, and then guiding him down the ramp that led to the first story.
They'll learn soon enough :)Will my rabbit learn to the functions of its cage?
Yes, eventually they will learn there is something up there. you can entice this by placeing one of their favorite foods up there, you can also put some indoor/outdoor carpet on the ladder to ensure they will not slip and fall ( they are very fragile). ( are they both the same sex, related? Also as they get bigger ( unless dwarf or the like) will eventually need a bigger cage as that cageing set up is decent ( not perfect) for one as an adult,
yes but they may even figure out how to break out my rabbit did this to me( she watched me open the cage for like a year and now she will and can do this it is a pain)
Yup they will learn you might have to put them on the second story so they know its there. Most of the time they may jump right onto the second story rather than use ladder.
