I need help persuading my parents to get me a rabbit. What should I do?

How does one go about persuading their parents to get them a rabbit? I was thinking about writing a persuasive essay, but then I thought that, that was too “kiddish” My parents are hard to please, and very conservative (old fashioned). SO, what do I do… bribe them? Can anyone please give me a persuasive essay outline, so I know how to write one, and feel free to give me any other ideas. Thank you.I need help persuading my parents to get me a rabbit. What should I do?
Be sure they know of all the bunnies in foster care and shelters. There are so many rabbits needing homes try to convince them of your abilities and talk them into fostering bunnies for for your local shelter or rescue till other homes are found. Tell them you want to help rescue

do lots of research, print it out or tell them what you learned and figure out why you NEED a bunny, as opposed to just wanting one
u don't want a rabbit, they r EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I HATE THEM ALL!!!!!1
search about ALL the advantages a rabbit can have and list them for your parents, then think about ALL the disadvantages and but dont tell your parents about them just prepare an answer to give if they mentioned any of them, then just before asking try doing some things that they apreciate but becareful dont let em think you did that just to get your wish done, dont quickly expect answer from them, just mention your request and let them think about it before saying NO,coz once parents say no they hardly come to change their mind, you can also promise some good things or quiting some of the things that u do and they dislike in exchange,, (but not directly,,, if it will smell like bribe they will refuse!) and finally make sure having a rabbit is WORTH all this good luck
show them you are responsible, get a job if you can so you can at least pay for some of it, and make a deal with them, like if you get a rabbit, and you don't take care of it, they can take away somethign of yours.
Tell your parents that you will take care of it and feed it! You know I got a hammy w/out my parents permission and it brought the family closer together! So yeah if talking doesn't work then just get it!
Try researching what it would take to care for and live with a rabbit. Establish a well thought out plan, including how you plan to pay for the rabbit's care (It can be around $100 for a spay/neuter, there are vaccinations needed in the UK if you're there and you have to buy them enough alfalfa/veggies/pellets that they can eat every day, plus the initial cost of a cage, litter box, water bottle, toys etc...) and where you will be keeping the rabbit. Rabbits need a lot of space, care and attention. Show them you're not only aware of what it would take, but ready to take on that responsibility. The average rabbit's life span is 7 to 10 years. Be sure to hae a plan for that amount of time.

Once you've figured out exactly how you plan to raise and care for your rabbit, sit down with your parents for a mature and responsible conversation. Outline your plan to them, be prepared for them to ask questions and answer them to the best of your ability. If you don't know the answer to a question they have, tell them you'll research it and get back to them to continue the discussion later.

I reccomend the house rabbit society (http://www.rabbit.org) for good care guidelines.
I wrote a persuasive essay to convince my parents to let me get a guinea pig.

Start off with the intro being about how responsible you are, work you do around the house.

Then the next paragraph could be about how much you already know about rabbits, could be info from the internet.

Another paragraph could be about how you would be saving a rabbit from a shelter, and almost certain death.

Then of course, your second to last paragraph should be how you plan to take care of it. Are you going to ask your parents for the food, or will you be doing odd jobs for that money.

And the last paragraph should be about how to get the equipment for the rabbit.

Of course, you should know that a rabbit is alot of responsibility and are a little difficult to take care of. They can get scury so they need to have Vitamin C, and they need to be played with almost everyday for a while, so they don't become tempermental and aggresive to you when you want to play with him.

Start with a dwarf bunny if your not sure about having a large rabbit.
you have to show your parents that you are a responsible person and can take care of your pet yourself. do a research about rabbits and how to take care of them and show your parents what you've learned. if you talk about it in passing like everyday, they will eventually soften and agree for you to have a pet. good luck and take care of your rabbit and don't forget to think of a cool name for your rabbit.
Tell them that rabbit makes a great dish. When people stay over to eat unexpectedly and there is not much in the fridge, there is always the rabbit.
