Why is there white liquid coming out of my rabbit eyes?

i just took him a bath ... is this bad or are they tears or something. it has never happened before. and im just worried! Why is there white liquid coming out of my rabbit eyes?
This is most likely just caused by irritation, but there are other things that can lead to white gunk leaking from the eye. Your rabbit may have a blocked duct behind his eye that had not shown up until now, which can lead to the leakage. The only way to correct this is through surgery, but it doesn't hurt the rabbit and if you clean it'a eyes on a daily basis then that really isn't a problem. Antoehr reason is that is could have a more serious illness like Weepy eye or Pasturella. You might want to just wipe around his eyes with a wet wash cloth for a few days and see if it improves. If it doesn't, or if you notice that he is having a hard time breathing or is also leaking from the nose, then you need to see a vet. This is what is known as Pasturella and is a highly infectious disease that can be deadly to rabbits. I would just watch your rabbit for a couple of days and the gunk will most likly go away, but just book on the look out.Why is there white liquid coming out of my rabbit eyes?
It sounds like his eye is irritated from the bath, if you have never seen this happen before. Keep an eye on him and see if it continues or gets worse, and at that point you should contact a veterinarian. If it goes away it is likely just tearing caused by irritation.

I've seen a rabbit with a severe eye infection before and it had white tears that looked like pus. I highly doubt your rabbit is as bad off as this one was, so it may just be irritation. Good luck with your bunny, I hope he is all right!
it may be wise to talk to a vet, your rabbits eye may be infected, or irritated from the bath....oh and try not to give your rabbit a bath, they tend to like to groom themselves!
he might be allergic to somthing u used. like soap. or if u used 2 much. it should only last a couple of days. if not take it to a animal hospital. thanx.
