A rifle is not necessarily and more or less powerful than any other firearm, and no firearm will ';blow up'; a rabbit.
The biggest round a hand-held firearm can fire is a bullet half an inch wide, which will tear a large hole in an animal, but it will by no means ';blow up';.
Furthermore, a ';magnum'; is not a gun, it's a type of round, and all it means is that it contains more gunpowder and thus the bullet travels at a faster speed. lol...
With all that said, why don't you just behead it with an axe? It works, trust me.There's a rabbit that fell from a huge tree in my backyard, what to do?

A rabbit fell from a huge tree? How did the rabbit get into the tree in the first place? Rabbits don't climb trees! Was there an owl in the tree? If you can, it's probably best to put it out of its misery somehow.
you should put it out of its pain but dont shout it with a rife because you will mostlikely blow it up. just shout it but not with a rife. with a low powerd pistal or magnam.
You were supposed to shoot it in the head. Hmmm save it for later and scare your litlle sister, cousin, neighbor or something like that.
