Is it scary entering your rabbit or bunny in a competion for 4H?

The first person..wow

No it isn't scary showing your bunny in 4-H. It isn't hard either. They'll ask you simple questions about your bunny, they'll ask you to do certain things with your bunny, and check how well groomed the bunny is. =) I promise it isn't scary and is very fun. You do keep your bunny, you'll show in breeding rabbit if you want to keep it and market rabbit if you want to sell if for meat.

I've been in multiple shows with lambs, goats, dogs, bunnies, and steers. Your first show will be a little scary but the judges understand and they're very nice!!!Is it scary entering your rabbit or bunny in a competion for 4H?
No but you do realize you will have no bunny afterward? Is it scary entering your rabbit or bunny in a competion for 4H?
Actually, your first year in 4-H is scary! Your first time showing in a project is scary and the first time judging a project is really really scary! I know cause I've done all of them. But, while it's a bit nerve wracking the first time it is a whole lot of fun and you learn a whole lot. Sometimes the judges are just good rabbit breeders but sometimes you even in a AARB judge.

So, go for it. It maybe a start of a lifetime of rabbit shows.

And, of course, you keep your bunny! Sometimes there are livestock auctions associated with some county fairs but not all. Some do sell market rabbits but they often don't go for meat and many counties don't even allow market rabbits. Even if they do you never have to sell.
