Is my rabbit pregnant? Should i separate the male from the female?

I think i saw my female and male having intercourse this morning when i was trying to feed them.

Shes building a nest too collecting grass and all but they look like their fighting. The male rabbit keeps ripping fur off the female one. I've been told the female should rip her own fur out.

Should i separate them and should i keep the female one inside? Is my rabbit pregnant? Should i separate the male from the female?
Okay, it sounds like they are both female BUT separate them immediately. Females will mount as a sign of dominance.

If they both live outside, it is fine to keep her outside, as long as she has proper shelter from the elements.

Fur pulling happens by the doe herself, UNDER HER BELLY, a few hours before she is going to give birth. 31 days after being introduced, she will give birth, usually, but it can happen anywhere from 29-35 days. At day 28 a doe should be given hay and a nest box to keep the babies in.

Male rabbits will kill the babies and impregnate her again. Multiple pregnancies are not good for does.Is my rabbit pregnant? Should i separate the male from the female?
They should never have been housed together in the first place. each rabbit should have it's own cage. Are you sure they are a buck and a doe? have you checked the sex yourself? Get them separated right now! If they have been together and she is building a nest she is getting ready to kindle (give birth) She may end up killing the kits if the male is anywhere around her. Once the kits are born the buck will immediately mate with her and she will be pregnant again.

Rabbits mate or breed that is how the act is referred to.

Please try and do more research on rabbits and don't breed again until you know more about raising rabbits.
Since you are pregnant now, you don't need to hear what you should have don't differently. You need to deal with the preagnancy now.

The gestation period for rabitts is 28 days, the bunny business did not start just today.

The female is ripping her own fur to build a nest. You need to get her a nesting box and nesting material right away.

You need to put the male in another cage, they are not good fathers. That will be his permanent new home until he is fixed and the baby situation is done.

You need to do a lot of reading and fast. Look at the link below.

Same sex rabbits should never be caged together, they will fight to the death. It is too small of an area. Mixed sex rabitts, one buck, one doe, can live together if, they are less than 5 months old, or they are fixed.

When rabitts are babies they can get along well.
You should NEVER have they male and female together!

If you want the mother and babies to live get the father out NOW, he will kill all of they, including the mother.
