How do I tell my friend her rabbit's died...?

I am looking after my friends pets as she is on holiday in France and I went tonight and her rabbit has died.


She doesn't come back till Friday...

Well I'll tell you what NOT to do. My friend was looking after her friends rabbit. She text messaged her telling her that her rabbit died.





Now, text messaging is not the right way to do anything with emotion, such as explaining to a friend that their rabbit died or breaking up with you boy/girl friend.





If you have her number, I would call her. You might think your ruining her vacation but when I was gone for a weekend and my hamster died, I came back and then they told me. I was 100% reachable and I was angry that they didn't tell me ahead of time because I came back happy to see him.





Explain to her that you did everything you could to care for it. She might be mad for a while but its one of the stages of grief. She'll realize that it wasn't your fault and she'll eventually get over it.How do I tell my friend her rabbit's died...?
Break it very gently to her as their is no easy way to tell her. But you must tell her before she picks up the rabbit. No friend would try and make you feel guilty about this whatsoever. I have a rabbit and I always tell whoever is taking care of her when I'm on holiday if they should die or get real sick I wouldn't hold them responsible as rabbits can get sick and die very quickly anyway.
Wow, that's tough. Tell her after she gets back (unless she asks) ';I fed, and watered your rabbit, as I do mine. The other day I woke up and checked on your rabbit and sadly it passed away. Not sure how. I'm sorry.'; Ask if there's anything you want her to do maybe if you have the money try to pitch in to help buy another rabbit (after you tell her). Not sure there's much left to say/do. Hope it helps. :)
Oh wow ok...so first don't tell her anything until she he's back from vacation...meanwhile u should dispose of the rabbit...now when u tell her or him...make sure u put urself in their shoes pretend as if she was the one telling u the news....put urself down to her level of emotion people appriciate it when they can see that u feel what they feel....


If she or he cries u need to as well....take te empty cage to ur house just so she has to come

Put a dead bee or a spider in there and tell her that the rabbit ate it or got bit/stung and it was died when you woke up to feed it
You fail, next time watch the damn rabbit and i am going to call PETA on your *** for killing rabbits.
Maybe not let her enjoy her holiday. It wont make any difference telling her now. only spoil her hollies.
Just take care of the body....call her if u can...apologize!!!!! buy her a new bunny as a surprise :) i think that would make me feel better!!!!!

DONT TELL HER, have your mom contact her mom and do it for you it will save your friendship
