Can a rabbit go as a carry-on on lufthansa?

I will be moving to another country from the US. I have a bunny that I would like to take as a carry-on probably on lufthansa. Do airlines allow rabbits to go into the cabin?

According to their website, your rabbit cannot travel with you in the cabin. You will have to contact Lufthansa and make arrangements for its travel. While space is limited, you may be able to have it travel on the same aircraft. Also, with you traveling to another country, you are going to want to make sure it is caught up on all of its vaccinations and check with the state department about the rules for pets in the country that you're going to. Depending on the pet and how up to date the vaccinations are, you may have to have your pet held in quarantine. Here's the link to lufthansa:
