my rabbit had five but three died and the ones i have now are three weeks tomorrow and they eat grass, bite wood, grapes almost EVERYTHING.and we think it is bad for them?is it?When does a rabbit stop breastfeeding the baby bunnies?
They will continue to nurse until around 6 weeks, and should be offered access to hay and rabbit pellets only now to nibble. Mom bunny will slowly wean them on her own, nursing them less and less as they get older. Remove any other edibles from their enclosure for now, you can introduce treats and such after they are fully weaned and on their own. When does a rabbit stop breastfeeding the baby bunnies?
Yes, what you are feeding and letting it do is asking for a death sentence. Young kits should be on a 15% pellet with a trace of mixed hay added to its diet.It has to have lots of fresh water or it will die. Do not feed it anything accept pellets and hay until it is several weeks older. Now is prime time in losing little ones that young if their diet is not right.

If you have access to the internet, research the foods that young rabbits eat at different ages spans. Where is the mother? These kits should still be nursing until they are about 4-5 weeks.

What they said; Rabbit pellets, Hay, Water.

3 week old kits (and younger sometimes) are starting to eat pellets and hay but will nurse 6-10 weeks sometimes if you keep them with the doe. At 12 weeks they will hit puberty and they will fight and possibly breed, so you need to move them into their own cages by then.
