Wheres the best place to get a pet rabbit in the west midlands ?

I'd like to get my daughter two dwarf rabbits, I'd prefer not to get them from a pet shop, aside from the prices (拢26 each) morally im not sure i agree with pet shops, not really sure why. But anyway we would like netherlands probably or any other dawrf breed that stays small.

thanks in advanceWheres the best place to get a pet rabbit in the west midlands ?
just found this link for you, i hope it helps! www.westmidlandspetrabbits.co.ukWheres the best place to get a pet rabbit in the west midlands ?
try the peak district, im sure you could nick a couple! no one would miss them, and you would save them from some future road kill death! be kind to nature.
In the Vets ,,,People put adds on the notice board ,,,,
www.thebrc.org The british rabbit club has lists of breeders in the area.

search for reputable breeders online you get a more socialised rabbit and are usually cheaper than in pet shops
Hmm... First, I would check out rescue groups to see if they have any or if they can give you the name of a reputable breeder. I would also check out advertisements in newspapers or online.
You could always try the RSPCA and see if they have any in need of re-homing.
visit www.findit.co.uk they have breeders on their from different parts of the country
if you are going to get two rabbits, please make sure they are either 2 females, or a male and a female that you are going to house separate until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered so as to not have young, last thing we need in this world is more rabbits that are going to end up neglected or in shelters due to not having dedicated owners.

if you go down the route of 2 females, they have to be 2 sisters, from the same litter, and they have to be taken at the same time, otherwise the female which may have already established a territory will be unlikely to accept another in her hutch /cage.

as for where to obtain them, if you try going to a rescue shelter, the rabbits you get may already have been neutered, therefore eliminating the risk of uterine / testicular cancer, which claims so many bunny lives, and they more than likely will already have had their myxamitosis and VHD inoculations, therefore causing you that little bit less hassle having to get them done. it also means you will be helping out already disadvantaged bunnies that haven't had the best start in life, rather than giving the breeders another excuse to have another litter to either supply the pet shop's or sell on themselves
